Head Instructor
Kru Michael has been training in the martial arts for thirty five years and teaching for the last twenty five. He has travelled the world to study under the finest teachers on the planet.
He served for eight years with the UK Special Forces, where he taught combatives across the group. He then served in an operational role with a Government agency and spent ten years working Close Protection in hostile environments.
Michael has taught his methods to elite Military units, specialist Police teams and Government agencies. He is the author of the book "SURVIVE: The Definitive Guide to Unarmed Tactics."

JEET KUNE Do
Bruce Lee’s expression of the martial arts, passed down to us through his training partner Sifu Dan Inosanto. The art of Jeet Kune Do is simply to simplify, so we offer an efficient and direct approach to combat. These classes are a mix of technical training and self-defence application.

The system we teach is Inosanto/Lacoste Kali, passed down to us again through Guro Dan Inosanto. Our focus is to strip Kali down to a functional fighting method. Each class will have a mix of weapons and empty hand training, focussing on both the technical and practical.
boxing FITNESS
This class focusses on your fitness as a combat athlete. Shadowboxing, padwork and conditioning for cardiovascular and muscular endurance. The training is hard work but great fun. Our Instructor is a professional boxing coach and elite level boxing fitness trainer.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR CLASS
- All classes must be booked in advance and paid online. No walk-ins allowed. Each class has a maximum capacity of 16 students so you must be booked to attend.
- If plans change and you cannot attend, you have until four hours before the class to move your booking to another day.
- Minimum age to attend training is 18 years old.
WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR/BRING?
Your usual gym clothing. No footwear or bags inside the training room. We have lockers for your personal belongings. If you have MMA/Bag Gloves please bring them.
private TRAINING
Train personally with Kru Michael, either one to one or bring training partners and split the cost. We focus on the training areas of your choice. Private students are eligible to progress on to our Instructor Certification Program.

SEMINARS
Kru Michael travels extensively to teach at other schools and academies. As one of the very few certified JKD Instructors in South East Asia, he is available to teach seminars to any school looking to incorporate the arts of Jeet Kune Do and Inosanto Kali.
